Months to a Year : This is a project first started in January 2007, but abandoned almost immediately. Alps 2003 : In 2002, a friend of mine got a GPS receiver as a gift when he completed his PhD. He thought that it needed testing, so he, his sister, and me made a tour of the Valais (and a tiny bit of Italy) in 2003. I have about 200 photos, but it will take some time to upload them all. Mt Knollen (Harz) : This time, I have hiked from Herzberg at the sourther edge of the Harz range to a hill (or mountain, if 700m are a mountain) bearing the funny name of Knollen; and back to Herzberg. The batteries of my camera went dead before I managed to take a single picture, so all I have to show are these, taken with an oldish cell phone.
